Hair has always been such a big deal for women especially women of color. Wanting our hair to be more straight, or down our backs. I no longer feel obligated to wear a hair weave down my back just to feel beautiful for others. I want to feel beautiful for ME. I love me no matter what I decide to do. Long, short, curly, straight, weave, wig or bald, the options are limitless. Love yourself no matter what. I am NOT my hair. I can cut it a million more times and it will always grow back. Went with the slicked back look today 🙂

@flattummytea is also really good on the go! For hot days, where we reached 103 here in L.A today, I put some ice in my tea and was on the go. It was refreshing and it kept me bloat free throughout the day 😉
